Taiwan is where solar cells might be said to reign. In the autumn of each year, PA Taiwan is held under the sponsorship of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), SEMI, and Taiwan Photovoltaic Industry Association (TPVIA). This year it is scheduled to be held from October 22-24. As a runner up to this, media tour was held during the 5 days from May 25 to May 30. Along with well known media companies from the UK and Germany, Solvisto from Japan was selected to attend. Besides cell and module producers, also those agencies handling manufacturing facilities, secondary batteries, frames, and installation attended, making for a total of 8 companies presenting the current status and the outlook for the future.
