A panel airborne imagery service using drones by ALSOK, and PV maintenance is well underway
Targeting 50 contracts a year
Sohgo Security Service of the AISOK as corporate brand name for the security system business it is engaged in for the mega solar sector. In April it put a panel airborne imagery service into full operation using drones, which are called flying robots. This service began as a pre-service in October of last year for users having contracts with the company. Examples of its main areas of activity are the maintenance of the efficiency of electric power generation, and the searching out of areas with unusual temperatures leading to the early detection of hot spots and failures. The drones mount an airborne imagery capacity for monitoring the progress of installation and HP. The company is aiming at 50 contracts a year. This is a service with numerous high pressure cases on the order of 1-2MW. We conducted an interview to find out what measures are being undertaken regarding the drones for which there are fears in terms of safety as well as regarding the advantages of using drones in the PV area.
